The Merchayne

The Merchayne is composed of a group of small kingdoms and city-states. A large number of their members once belonged to the Anarian Empire. In 27 AS with rumours of Anarian Empire possibly looking to reclaim some of it's lost territory, a proposal was set forth to band together for protection. They decided to appoint a group of governors to oversee themselves. Shieldhaven was invited to the gathering, but refused to join The Merchayne.
