Warden

Live action role-playing games are equal parts live action (physically swinging a sword) as well as role-playing (magically throwing a fireball). However, some players, because of a medical condition or disability, would like to participate in combat but cannot do so safely or cannot do so comfortably. These players are referred to as Wardens.

There are two levels of Warden.

  • Warden 1 is an innate skill can be used at any point in the weekend. Warden 1 is intended for players with temporary impairments, such as a migraine or a broken arm. We request that as soon as you have a chance communicate this with Plot/Safety Staff if you are activating the skill. Once activated you may not turn off Warden 1 after activated during a weekend. Benefits for Warden 1 is listed as part of the Innate Skill.
  • Warden 2 is an open skill you may take which will make you permanently a Warden. Warden 2 is intended for players with more permanent issues and allows them to have access to additional specializations. After Taken the skill you will always have Warden 1 active during every event.
