The Anarian Empire

The fall of their capital of Shakar, and the death of many of the Empire’s central figures, led to the collapse of much of the Empire’s power. Just two years after the destruction, the Kingdom of Turiand rebelled, and the years that followed had several city-states and small lords on the southwestern outskirts claiming independence. In 27 AS, many of the independent breakaways formed The Merchayne. Following this, the Anarian Emperor ordered their western army to retake West Haven (later renamed Shieldhaven) in 28 AS, which led to their army getting surprised by the force of the Kingdom of Turiand and the destruction of that army.

The Emperor's seat lies on the eastern continent of Arkrath. With the Sea of Glass nearly impassable, the only real means to transport for people or messages from one side of the Empire to the other is by ship across the Raymere Sea. This leaves the governing of the Empire's lands on the western continent in the hands of the Senator stationed there.

• Fall of the capital of Shakar. Not many are sure of what exactly happened but the resulting Rift collapse caused what’s now known as The Sea of Glass.

2-6 AS

• The War of the Boar - Western half of the Anarian Empire now rebel and form the Kingdom of Turiand, Conflicts ceases in 6 AS.

14 AS

• ShieldHaven becomes known as being free from any rift.

26 AS

• The Battle for Shieldhaven. The anarian emire musters its forces and tries to attach Shield haven and claim the land for itself, but it is pushed out. The Shieldhaven Forward Outpost is destroyed in the attack.

42 AS

• The Anarian Empire, begins production of new naval ships to cross the Raymere Sea.

58 AS

• The completion of a new Dreadnought class ship, named The Vengence, is declared by the Emperor of the Anarian Empire as a “new era for trade and commerce”

67 AS

• Western Anarian Empire squashes any rumors of failing resource lines from the eastern empire. They begin to threaten others along their borders, but due to lack of resourses, they quickly retreat.

88 AS

• Western Anarian Empire’s Praetor declares that they will reclaim the land that is rightfully theirs.

Eastern Anarian Empire does not respond, as forces begin to increase the production of new materials.
91 AS

• Rumors begin of lack of communication between the Western and Easten Empire as there has been no sightings of the Emperor in years.

110 AS

• Border skirmishes between Anarian Empire and Turiand begin again as more border watches are set up along the western empire.
